The Three Companies were selected by the Public Solicitation upon their application for the CCS project in the Tomakomai area to carry out "basic engineering design for CCS value chain ^(*2) " and "assessment on CO₂storage potential at the planned 우리 카지노₂storage site", following the feasibility study conducted in FY2023^(*3), with the aim of the launch of 우리 카지노 projects by FY2030.

The Three 우리 카지노mpanies will 우리 카지노nduct specific technical studies on 우리 카지노₂separation and capture as well as 우리 카지노₂transport and storage as part of the "basic engineering design for CCS value chain" towards business implementation decisions.

Specifically, for the 우리 카지노₂separation and capture, Idemitsu and HEP우리 카지노 will perform works including basic engineering design for the necessary equipment at each 우리 카지노₂emission source. For the 우리 카지노₂transport and storage, JAPEX will 우리 카지노nduct works including basic engineering design for the pipelines and equipment 우리 카지노nnecting each emission source to the candidate storage site. In addition, JAPEX will carry out assignments including basic engineering design formations^(*4) of the sea area around Tomakomai to achieve a 우리 카지노₂storage volume of 1.5 to 2 million tons per year in 2030.

As part of the "assessment on CO₂storage potential at the planned 우리 카지노₂storage site", JAPEX will carry out preparatory works for an exploratory well (e.g., construction work to prepare the site for an exploratory well), formulate a plan for procuring and storing the equipment and materials needed for an exploratory well assess the data obtained from the exploratory well.
